Since I was 25, I’ve been collecting recipes scribbled on paper scraps, passed down from my grandmother, my neighbors, my friends. Every dish tells a story. A memory. A moment of comfort.
One day, I took a leap. I sold my car, took out a loan, and opened a tiny, warm-hearted restaurant. No investors, no fancy branding just good food, love, and a dream.
But just a few months later, I lost everything. Rent, taxes, bills, and a brutal pandemic crushed what I built. I had to close the doors. I was left with nothing... except my cookbook.
This is not just a collection of meals it's my journey. It fed my kids, comforted my friends, and gave me purpose in hard times.
